Jalebi Recipe


  1. Maida Flour-1 and 1/2 cup
  2. Gram flour- 1 and 1/2 tsp.
  3. Curd- 2 tsp.
  4. Baking powder - 1/4 tsp.
  5. Corn flour- 1 tsp
  6. Oil- 1 tsp
  7. Water
  8. Ghee
Sugar syrup
  1. Sugar - 2 cup
  2. Cardamom
  3. Yellow color
  4. Water -1 cup
Pour sugar, cardamom , water in a pan, boil it while stirring it continuously. Turn off the burner after 2-3  boils and mix color in the small quantity.

Mix maida flour, gram flour, curd and oil, add water to make a thick batter. Now keep it for 3 to 4 hours, Then add cornflour and baking powder. Mix water if required. Pour the batter into the Jalebi maker. Heat the ghee firstly on burner with low flame. Remove the cap of nozzle and make Small net in the oil. Fry these small nets and then pour them into the sugar syrup. Place them into Serving dish.
